Michael is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Nextt, leading its teams in finance, accounting, tax, commercial and business analytics and facilities & property management.

Michael joined Nextt in August 2021, with a professional career spanning 25+ years in international services and tech organisations in Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia (Indonesia & Japan), the Middle East and the USA. He is passionate about the potential that tech and advanced business analytics can provide in delivering better services to customers and making informed decisions about the future of the business.

Michael has extensive experience in transforming organisations through the finance function, strengthening their corporate governance and risk management. As CFO on several management teams, Michael has supported achieving strong growth, and he has been accountable for small and large M&A transactions totaling more than $1.5bn.

Michael holds MBA from universities in Germany and the USA; he is also GAICD of the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors.
